Lists.ntp.org hosts several other NTP mailing lists. Personally I find the "hackers" list most interesting (for discussion of new clocks and algorithms in the ntpd internals, mostly, although there is other stuff there too.) But all the NTP lists, by necessity, have something to do with timekeeping :-)
Several times, I've seen discussions on the old timekeepers list, which really would've been better suited to the context of one of the other NTP lists. I think that the "pool" list name is a good choice, as it there are things having to do with administration of the pool and pool servers, that are unique and not covered in the other lists.ntp.org lists. But really a lot of the things that are commonly discussed here are better addressed in a different lists.ntp.org list. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dreamy Sent: Tuesday, June 01, 2010 10:16 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Pool] The NTP Pool mailing lists have been rehosted Hello, why aren't we timekeepers anymore? :) That just sounds pretty much better then "pool". Are we just swimmers now? :D _______________________________________________ pool mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ntp.org/listinfo/pool _______________________________________________ pool mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ntp.org/listinfo/pool
