Hi everyone,

I wanted to see if we could have the NTP Pool serve AAAA records for "IPv6 Day"
in about a week.

I started building out the work Martin started some years ago to allow
collecting performance/availability from multiple monitoring systems.

I was planning to get it finished this weekend, but too much time got sucked
away by trying to extract data from a corrupted ARCHIVE table (that I
discovered was corrupt when I was testing the schema updates I was planning to
do, grrrh).

In related news most of the historical monitoring data is lost (unless someone
makes it un-lost)[1]. I'm not sure it's such a big deal, though I was hoping
eventually someone would take time to analyze it and see if there are any
patterns we could use to make the scoring system better. If anyone wants to
see if they can extract the data, the files are linked from
http://bugs.mysql.com/61358

 - ask

[1] I have twice daily backups going back ~8-9 months; but this corruption
happened at least months ago I believe so if we just go back to an old backup
there'd be a big gap in the data anyway.
