From eyeballing the tcpdump log, I'd say one query per 3 minutes. From the monlist it looks like around 0.4 queries per second for IPv4+Ipv6 together. Grepping the IPv6 entries out of it gives me this: remote address port local address count m ver rstr avgint lstint =============================================================================== 2607:f238:2::11 58367 2001:888:11bd:0:207:e9ff:fed6:8253 855 3 3 180 405 202 2001:888:11bd:0:222:2f 123 2001:888:11bd:0:207:e9ff:fed6:8253 434 1 4 180 800 242 2001:1af8:fe00:2b6::2 123 2001:888:11bd:0:207:e9ff:fed6:8253 151 3 4 180 389 330 2001:1af8:fe00:129::2 123 2001:888:11bd:0:207:e9ff:fed6:8253 20 3 4 180 7104 28992 2001:610:600:7dc::2 123 2001:888:11bd:0:207:e9ff:fed6:8253 4 3 4 180 20823 83287 2002:55df:344f:0:21f:d 123 2001:888:11bd:0:207:e9ff:fed6:8253 4 3 4 180 23587 94349 Ciao.
