Just for grins I decided to check what I am getting this evening and
got the following results:
% ntpq
ntpq> associations

2 8688 941a yes yes none candidate sys_peer 1
3 8689 943a yes yes none candidate sys_peer 3
4 8690 931a yes yes none outlyer sys_peer 1
5 8691 9144 yes yes none falsetick reachable 4
ntpq> rv 8687 leap

ntpq> rv 8688 leap

ntpq> rv 8689 leap

ntpq> rv 8690 leap
leap=01

My interpretation of this result is that only one of my peers is
advertising the leap second.
I find that interesting but not disturbing.
