If you mean my Web site, while the pin-out of the 18 LVC and the Sure board
is different, there's no reason in principle why the cable couldn't be the
same. It needs to carry 5 signals: power, ground, TX, RX, and PPS. On my
18x LVC install I split the cable end to a 9-pin RS-232 connector (ground,
TX, RX, DCD) and USB power-only connector (ground and power). The Garmin
has a directly connected multi-core cable, the Sure has a DB9 RS-232
connector and USB connector.
