very sudden change somewhere.
I have had sudden changes like this before in the graph for my server.
It just has to do with Internet "weather" for the path from the
monitoring server to yours.
Mine cleared up after some days of instability, and I anecdotally
ascribed it to some core network work our campus network infrastructure
was going through at that time.
You have no control over all the hops... especially when the monitoring
server is in LA and you are on a different continent.
