I think the point was that CNBC was giving out financial advice that went against what the market was actually doing. Then, they turn around and chastise Obama's plan for trying to aid homeowners, saying it will hurt the economy--while all along they gave 'financial advice' that would have destroyed anyone's portfolio. The point is, if you're looking to CNBC for finanacial advice, you've got a lot to learn.
As for Obama's plan to save people from their own greed and irresponsibility, who the hell knows?
