The same could be said about Main Street making bad deals and then running to Congress for a bailout. No body forced them to make shit deals. But where was Santinelli ranting and raving about the bank bailout? I'm not arguing we should have had either because I don't think we should have had any bailouts. But, it seems pretty shady that Santinelli was fine with all of the previous bailouts and then goes on to rant about homeowners.
Who said anything about Bush in particular? I said Republicans. Nixon created the DEA and he was a Republican. Reagan increased defense spending by 90% and he was a Republican. G.W. Bush created the Department of Homeland Security and spearheaded The PATRIOT Act and he is supposedly a Republican. There are three Republican presidents that have EXPANDED government.
