Let me add here that for mailandnews.com smtp you are required to have
password authentication. In your OE, on the servers box, under then
heading of Outgoing Mail Server, check the box that reads [] My server
requires authentication.
For Yahoo, they require a "pop-first" authentication, which means
before you send mail, do a download of your mail from you pop3 server.
