While doing a modest clean-up, I took a closer look at the above posting
and followed the link. This is a great reference for those seeking POP
addresses with an exotic flavour, since it is global in scope. I found not
only a couple of European POP3 services which I have found extremely
reliable over the past few months (like laposte.net and zonnet.nl) as well
as others I have never encountered but a snippet of information that I had
been trying to ferret out (by checking time zone locations with respect to
GMT) for the past six months, namely that "newmail.net" is located in
Israel.

On another note: in a recent posting I shamefully misspelled the list
owner's name in mentioning his great opus "Patience with POP" - of course,
that should have been Alan S. HARRELL . Can I plead a really, really bad
hangover? a virus attack? just non compos mentis that day?
