I would tend to concur with the others here about the probability that the
address was discovered via another way. I know in my fight against spam, I
have discovered that dictionary attacks have become much more common in
recent months, as well as spammers taking known email addresses from one
domain and converting them to another domain on their address lists. If
your address is not sufficiently obscure, it's very likely it could be
discovered via either of those methods.
