First of all let me say how much I enjoy reading your posts. Not
only are they informative, they are very entertaining as well. You
have a nice flair for writing. My crystal ball sees a newsletter in
your future. :-)
Accolates aside, I must decline your invitation. I had a Crosswinds
account years ago and it was not long before I placed them on my
losers list. I think Crosswinds was/is pretty much a one man
operation or at least a family enterprise comprised of a geek that
just knows enough to get himself into trouble. This service has
never been reliable in my view.
If you want web space +plus+ a popper, I think probably
Yahoo/Geocities is your best bet today. In just signing up for a
Yahoo account, you can get Yahoo Mail and then get a Geocities web
site. All free. And although each are far from perfect, you will
find them infinitely superior to a Crosswinds account.

If you already Yahoo mail accounts you can convert all of them to
geocities web space. You can get a free web space for every single
Yahoo account you have. Yahoo actually desires that you get greedy
and grab all the web space to which you are entitled. :-)

NetTaxi offers web space and it used to offer pop3 accounts. I think
it still does.

VisualCities provides pop3 with their free web hosting services.

In other words, Holm, there is better fish out there for the free web
hosting plus pop3 combination accounts than Crosswinds.
