What I have seen of Crosswinds pretty much tells me that they are NOT a
good choice for anything.

What I have heard is that it is run by two brothers, and they exert a
lot, perhaps too much control over what is/through their system. I know
a guy whose page content was deleted more than once because it offended
some sensibility of the operators of Crosswinds.

And, they are (IMO) an overly filter-happy mailhost. Over the years I
have had many posts on lists I run rejected by some filter there for
running afoul of some silly thing. The only mailhost I have seen that is
worse than Crosswinds is the Los Angeles Freenet (lafn.org) when it
comes to filtering.

So Holm, I do not feel that Crosswinds is a good choice at all and
should be avoided at all costs. Maybe it's just the liberty-happy
American in me (<g>), but any host that would censor my web pages and
delete my mail before I see it would wind up on my s* list and fast.
