The variance of performance is a whole other discussion in itself..
I just find that seeing films in a theater adds a lot more to the
experience that a larger viewing screen and bigger sound. Even though you
you may loathe certain other audience members individually I think there
is some definite connection formed between every person in a theater that
really engrosses themselves in the picture.

It *would* be quite different. Music *does* spawn physical movement
undoubtedly, but the imagery created is pure imagination and most people
(especially these days w/ videos) have learned to rely a bit too much on
what's given visually--well, not that that's a bad thing at all, but it's
just different. When I think of like "Born in the USA" or something I
remember watching MTV as a kid at my friend's house next door. When I
think of the 1st Ben Folds Five album, I remember staring into a calc 2
book for hours on end studying for a test. They're very individual
experiences and I just think it'd be nice to have another way to
experience music. The longer I go without seeing videos the more bizarre
it is to see one for a song I'm familiar with, and usually I'm so happy
*not* to have the association to its video.
Radio has a public quality and I remember when I was younger the
feeling of connection knowing other people were listening, too, but the
connection was more distant and uncertain.
> sorry for my rambles.
I thought that's the point:)
