well, its not that i dont like "the boy with the arab strap" or that i think its crap,
i think its not as good as the others. i prefer the ep's to any of the albums anyway.
i have no desire to pretend to have liked b&s from the beginning, that i have an
original copy of tigermilk, or that i dont like them now theyre more popular. i
despise people who feel the need to create a history for themselves by pretending they
bought the first album or liked them before anyone else did. i hated b&s the first
time i heard them and the first album i bought was "sinister". i dont happen to think
that "arab strap" fits as well together as an album as the others do, the start of it
is amazing, but the rest is a little weak. b&s are my favourite band, i love them no
matter how many other people do, and i resent people suggesting the opposite..
with regards to your songwriting query...i think isobel should do less of it.
