I have some problems with the gui. I have a couple of unfinished torrent from BitTorrent that i successfully added to Transmission. It checks the existing files just fine and then it starts to download. The problem comes if I quit Transmission and start it again because then it hangs before even showing the ui. It works fine with one file added but if you add more something with the resume goes wrong when you start the gui client.
