To date:

        tested, working:
                amd64 armish macppc i386

        tested, not working:
                sparc64 (unknown) vax (shared library support required)

        untested:
                alpha hp300 hppa landisk luna88k mac68k mvme68k mvme88k
                sgi sparc zaurus

If you have one or more of these untested platforms, and you are willing to 
test this port, those of us who want to see it eventually committed to the 
tree would be grateful for your reports, positive or negative.

I do not know the testing threshold required for community-developed ports to 
be committed, but experience tends to indicate that it is necessarily higher 
than Project-developed ports.
