I think "beta" should be part of the version number, here is one way to do it
TYPEFACE = wqy-microhei
V = 0.2.0beta
DISTNAME = ${TYPEFACE}-${V:S/beta/-beta/}
PKGNAME = zh-wqy-microhei-ttf-$V
