Yeah, I forgot to mention it's amd64. I found a similar problem on the freebsd 2003 mailing list archives: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-gnome/2003-May/001051.html I also forgot to mention that gmpc-0.15.1 and ncmpc-20070917 (glib2) worked for me (on amd64). bmw
