Hi,

in other ports the convention used is to have the commit date follow
a "pl", i.e. sddm-0.21.0pm20260819

* pkg/sddm.rc is executable and probably shouldn't be?
* /var and /etc in Makefile could be replaced by BASELOCALSTATEDIR and
BASESYSCONFIDR
* maybe wait with CATEGORIES = ... wayland until we have a working wayland
  setup?

otherwise ok volker@

cheers,
Volker

Hi ports@, Hi Qt haters,

To keep up with the competition at my hackathon table, I'd like to
introduce another login/display manager. I'm very happy with the result,
which makes using KDE Plasma easier, particularly for "desktop" users.

You can enable and test it with:

$ doas rcctl disable xenodm
$ doas rcctl stop xenodm

$ doas rcctl enable sddm
$ doas rcctl start sddm

Comment:
QML based X11 and Wayland display manager

Description:
The Simple Desktop Display Manager (SDDM) is a display manager. It is the
recommended display manager for the KDE Plasma and LXQt desktop environments.

Maintainer: The OpenBSD ports mailing-list <[email protected]>

WWW: https://github.com/sddm/sddm

I'm lookin for tests (X11) and OKs. At the moment I have also a valid
setup for X11 nor for wayland.

Cheers,

Rafael

New version with _permit_setugid, OK to import?

Forget the p2 version, new p3 attached. We don't need _permit_setugid.
We don't need suid either. That was based on an old GDM port, and I
assumed the same for the sddm-helper as well.

Here's the latest version with a new uid:

New iteration (p4), I added LOGIN_SETXDGENV so that XDG_RUNTIME_DIR can be
created as xenodm(1).

OK to import?
