I do not think it is unreasonable to ask and to let a company, which creates commercial software, to evaluate their licensing in order to make their products more attractive to consumers. I think that permitting distributions via packages and OpenBSD is not such a hard request, though there may be valid reasons for not allowing such. Asking them to go Open Source is another matter entirely.
