I don't know of any port within the ports tree that absolutely needs version 2.6. Almost, if not all, python ports in here should run fine on 2.5. I would suggest removing 2.6 and installing 2.5 so you won't run into these problems. If you absolutely need 2.6, unless I am mistaken you will need to use ports instead of the packages to add the python modules. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks, Ryan
