Ok, thank you. As per suggestion of Dmitry Marakasov (FreeBSD port maintainer), increasing RENDER_RATE to 60 makes all the levels work. So, I've done this in my final patch. Btw, this is only a workaround, so we're planning to update to a more recent snapshot from svn trunk, where the problem has been fixed properly. cheers -david
