Hi:

Here is a new port devel/py-pip.

pip is a replacement for easy_install. It uses mostly the
same techniques for finding packages, so packages that were
made easy_installable should be pip-installable as well.

    Tested OK on Loongson.

    Comments ?
Hello,

COMMENT is not ok, read here : http://www.openbsd.org/faq/ports/guide.html. I have replaced
"An" by "Python".

Also, port uses egginfo, so you must use MODPY_EGG_VERSION.

I have added spaces around variables.

This is the tarball with the modifications.

I'm asking if we must install bin/pip, or just bin/pip-${MODPY_VERSION}, and
write a pkg/MESSAGE to make a symbolic link (like bin/python2.x). Any opinion
on it ?

Otherwise, seems to work fine (amd64).

Cheers,

Remi.

Works fine for me too.

I prefer a symbolic link for pip.

cheers,
benoit
