Hi, I plan to remove esound that is deprecated, old and unmaintained.
The following port depends of it : audio/bmp,-main Who still use it ? There is tons of alternative in tree, and I'm not sure itworth converting to sndio. emulators/BasiliskII I have a diff to switch to sdl, any users ? games/gtetrinet,-main Can't get sound to work, confirmed by looking at the source that it used gnomelib, which already has esd support disabled. x11/enlightenment I have a diff to convert it to sndio x11/kmplayer Any plan for it ? graphics/synaesthesia Not sure it is worth keeping without esd flavor sysutils/gkrellm/plugins/mss x11/extace Designed to be used with esd, so they will be removed as well Comment, idea ?
