Somebody may have already mentioned this--there's a new Journal of Country
Music out. This one has a somewhat psychedelic cover screaming "Hillbilly
Boogie", picturing Ray Condo, Rose Maddox, Big Sandy and Ronnie Dawson.
The article is actually less about hillbilly boogie than it is a
retrospective of rockabilly focusing on people like Janis Martin, Wanda
Jackson and Ronnie Dawson enjoying second careers.

Other items in this issue:
-profile of Stonewall Jackson
-reporter hangs out at Fan Fair
-transcription of a 10 yr old roundtable of Nashville Sound studio greats
talking about the old days
-lengthy book review of "Elvis, Hank and Me: Making Music on the Louisiana
Hayride"
