Following simultaneous threads on
Cowboy Jack Clement and production values, and Clement's fessing up to
overproducing Towne's first album...On "The Late, Great TVZ" (is this
the album Clement's referring to?) Townes does a cover of
"Honkytonkin" I'm very fond of, replete with somebody banging on a
radiator or empty whiskey bottles. Anybody know any stories about this
particular arrangement?
