To link all this fretting about the glorious racket made by the
wonderful Sparklehorse with a recent non-twang P2 subject, has anyone
heard Japan's High Rise? I've just heard one track on the cover CD that
comes with the April '99 edition of The Wire. Phew! And, while on the
Japanese subject, what about Frank Chickens, an '80s female duo who I
once saw on TV accompanying the now rather seriously twang Billy Bragg?

By the way, how did you guys cope with Saint Steve and the Supersuckers?

Richard, ears bleeding and loving it

won't soon forget him asking for more little ones up front, at an
instore
hereabouts....

(and loved him and his bandmates. skipped the real gig the next night.
weasels are too noisy.)
