I forked Viktor's repo and added a version of your code and documentation relative to the last Postfix 3.9 development release. The code is untested and there are some comments with XXX(Wietse) for items that need attention. One is whether we need to quote metacharacters in the Postfix lookup key. Can you copy the dict_mongodb.* files into your environment and see what I broke?
