Hi all, Postfix does not support international email addresses, such as josé@example.org, as described by RFC 6530-6532. To be precise, the SMPTUTF8 (previously: UTF8SMTP) SMTP extension is not announced in the EHLO response.
Wikipedia [1] says it is "under development", but given the response to the topic "Question about supporting EAI in postfix" about a year ago [2] I get the impression it is not. Would anybody be aware of external contributions to Postfix for this feature? I have not found anything on the web.
