Thanks for taking the time to deal with this Luciano. I haven't yet seen a challenge-response system without flaws, and I don't think this is the best way for people to go.
My university department has just started running one that I find interesting. It simply challenges the sending mail server - so no user interaction required. It won't keep out all the spam, but most. It'll also screw people running their own mail servers who aren't online 24/7. Finally, cool that there are now 1000+ members!
