I've been using PowerPro for 2 years or more now... Written what I consider some fairly involved scripts.. Read & re-read all the daily posts. Studied the scripting tutorial, scrutinized PPro.doc, downloaded & fondled PPdb_vue (Thanks, Alan - very nice job!!).. Currently using 3.8.13 on XP, & 'W98.. I've been a little skitterish about updating to 3.8.15.. Could someone please explain the who /whys/wherefores of the change. I was quite totally confused by all the dialogs of the changes. I have no idea what pros /cons are afforded by changing. I've got no idea what is different or what is not...Seemed to me that most of the 'hoop-la" centered around being able to change the configuration file by writing an .ini file ............OK.. Why would I want to do that?? What advantages does this offer to me?? How will this affect the way I use PP?? What will I be able to do that I can 't do now. Thanks for your patience. Dave
