I just spent a day looking at changing my configuration from ' as an
escape char to the standard configuration \.

Conclusion:

 Too much work, more \ escapes than '

 Commands passed to PowerPro from links and their scripts all have
to be changed.

 \/ confusion, since Windows reports \

 I was having to look at scripts that I am happy with and I haven't
touched in a long time.

 Benefits, nil to none. After several more days work, I'll be back
to the same place.

Bummer, I'd like to contribute...

============= Browser focus =============

My solution to the Browser focus problem is to send my commands to a
script. A snippet of this script is:
...
....
.....

IF(arg(3)!="")
WIN.Show(exe)

WAIT for 10000,ACTIVEWINDOW(WIN.Handle(IFELSE(NOT exe,"active",exe)))

IF(exe=="=IEXPLORE" OR exe=="=mozilla" OR exe=="=MyIE")DO
WAIT for 500
ELSEIF(exe=="=Your otherstuff")
;do otherstuff
ENDIF

IF(arg(1)!="")DO
; {fast} doesn't always work for me in XP for asc chars > 127
; This always works without {fast}
; Reminder, sSendKey strings look like:
; "{QUOTE}{DN}my_text{ENTER}"
WIN.Sendkeys(arg(1))

ELSEIF(arg(2)!="" AND FILE.Validpath(arg(2)))
; This is automatically fast, excellent for my clips & filemenus
CLIP.FilePaste(arg(2))

ENDIF
QUIT

If course I had to modify my clip/snippets menus as suggested
earlier, but all of my sendkeys go thru this script. That way if I
have to tweak something, I only have to do it once. But I haven't
had to make a change to this since MiscPlugin.Sleep (now WAIT for)
came out.

I've seen it take maybe 2 seconds on occasions before the script
would fire the keys in a Browser window. For most cases the 500ms
would be sufficient. The "normal" windows are instantaneous.
