PowerPro does nothing with regard to drawing things on the screen:  
it just calls Windows API routines to do this.  It does not know 
anything about shadows.

My guess is that this is a Windows system bug wherein it does not 
erase the shadow windows it has created when PowerPro hides its bars 
when switching vdesks.  

When PowerPro shuts down, Windows realizes it needs to close the 
shadow windows.

I don't know of anything I can do to workaround this situation.
