excuse my ignorance but i am not up to date with the latest ppro changes at
all. i just installed the latest and some scripts broke

the command goes like this:

runfile [EMAIL PROTECTED]"D:\programs\Jetico\Jetico Personal
Firewall\fwsrv.exe"///=fwsrv

and fx.powepro contains

@init
local cmd=select(x9,index(x9,"///") -1)
local  win=remove(x9,index(x9,"///") +2)
debug &(x9) --- &(cmd) --- &(win)
if (not anywindow win)
 &(cmd)
quit

first thing i noticed was an explorer window poing up at the powerpro directory.
i dont understand that at all

i added the debug line as included above and it seems that x9 does not include
the whole sting but only the quoted part (the path of fwsrv.exe in this case)

searched my local mail archive (2006) for x9 - nothing.

is x9 broken or not longer supported?

is there another way, to launch scripts with arguments that may contain
any characters including quotes and without escaping them first? there
are few situations where escaping aint possible. like calling a script
with the command line (ppbang) from another aplication.

---

also all menus that used to use windows (xp) native colors (purple) show up in
black and turn completely to red (native selection color) as items are hoovered

i will look into details of that later (i dont remember my configuration, feels
like reverse enginering someone else's)

why is it always me coming up withe the weird stuff?

thanx
