Hi

I have searched the web and asked numerous questions in other posts
and cannot find the answer to my problem until I tried using a snippet
into an Excel cell and might have found an alternative. I would like
some help with it if at all possible.

I have a macro in Excel which adds the current date and time to the
active cell but the problem is that I have to double click the cell or
press F2 to continue entering data into it which is a bit time
consuming. There does not seem to be a VBA alternative to the F2 key
which puts Excel into Edit Mode.

Whereas using a PPro snippet the entry is pasted into the cell and
places the cursor at the end of the text entry ready for further data
entry. The PPro Calendar pastes the date / time only into the clip
board and I was wandering how I would go about creating a snippet
entry using the *Keys command that calculates the current time and
date in this format ddd dd mmm yy h:mm so that I can paste it into the
Excel cell.

The formula that I am using in Excel is :=TEXT(NOW(),"ddd dd mmm yy
h:mm ")& " - " , which gives me this result : Sat 04 Aug 07 16:50 -

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Jean
