Thanks. I gave the new pproconf a shot and the remembering of positions seems to work nicely at first glance. Also noticed new set skin dialog, which should be useful. As for the new search box - how do you actually start the search - obviously not by pressing enter... Important: I ve also noticed a bug since installing 4.8j (but I wasnt quite up to date before then, so might have had a much earlier 4.8 installed): When pproconf is open, any text I type into Firefox uses the American keyboard layout, rather than my German one. Also, all my MouseTrap and KeyTrap/based shortcuts are dead. Closing pproconf solves the Trap shortcut problem, but I also have to restart Firefox to be able to type normally again...
