Yeah, so, in a power adapter related issue, I noticed that Apple requires
the relevant powerbook's serial number (don't ask me what the powerbook SN
has to do with faulty power adapters - especially since the adapters could
be bought WITHOUT buying a PBG3...) to place the recall order...
I've used my G3 pretty heavily for 2 years now, and the primary computing
surface was, well, my LAPTOP. That is, i put the 'book on my lap and did
computing from the couch. In the process, the serial number got worn off -
the label is still there, but there's no bar code or SN anymore.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find the SN other than on the
bottom of the 'book?
Thanks for any thoughts,
Peace,
Drew
