Drew,
I have the same problem with my WallStreet PDQ. Luckily I had the proof of
repair from Apple from when I sent my PowerBook in for a minor warranty
repair. This letter lists my serial number, but there's no way to really tie
that number to my PowerBook (like also listing the hard coded Ethernet
address).
