Any Apple System Profiler  that runs on a PB 180 is pretty gut less and
doesn't say much about anything.  I would look on the Global Village web
site for a GV AT Command set (any GV set really) and see if there is a
command that identifies the modem.  Start up a Serial (not modem)
connection to the modem using Appleworks or another terminal emulator and
try the command.  Even if it isn't a GV modem it might work.
