I spent 6 hours with a performa 650 & a 5300cs powerbook trying to do the same thing last nite. I did get the IRTalk to work on the 5300 which has system 8.1 on it, but the performa will not give the option in the Apple Talk menu???? I tried a few systems on it in hopes of bringing it up with no luck. There must be some trick to it. Lets hope someone out there knows it. TIA
