Hi
I bought an IBM 6.4 GB HDD to install in my 5300cs 64 MB ram running OS8.6.
We opened it up, installed the drive, with no problem. The problem came when
we tried to start up. Started off the OS 8.6 CD with no problem, but the
drive set up couldn't find the drive. Finally gave up and put the old 500 MB
drive back in. It works like it is supposed to. There is nothing wrong with
the IBM, we put in in a Toshiba PC laptop and it formatted and is running
like it is supposed to, just in the wrong machine. Any help would be
appreciated.
