There's always the newsgroups for software evaluations and abandonware.

Of course banning the guy offering to duplicate abandonware unto 
floppies and then mail them out but not banning those many people who 
asked for it (he couldn't send it out as the attachment he had 
originally intended) is a bit like charging and arresting the sex 
worker but letting the johns walk away to read about declining family 
values in the morning paper.
