Hi David R. Now I could say since it won't show in your machine, you should sell it to me at a reasonable price. But I won't. We had the same problem with the 5300 and an IBM drive. Tried everything we could think of and still no go. We put it in my wife's 2300, set it up, loaded OS8.6, put it in the 5300 and it works great. It just will not be recognized in the 5300 until it is setup on another PB. Can't tell you why, that's just how it worked. Jim
