Hmmmm...

I know the Toshiba repair facility I used to work for
uses a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water for
cleaning both screens and case plastics. (That was
recommended by Toshiba)  Personally, I don't think it
works great - but it does work.  I usually will
recommend screen cleaning products like were mentioned
here...  They generally work pretty well and were
designed for the job.

As for a keyboard overlay...  Ideally, I would look
for a thin piece of anti-static foam. (Sorry, don't
have a source for one. I work in the industry, so I
can usually find a piece easily :-) ) The felt will
definately keep keyboard oil and dirt from
transferring to your screen, but I would be concerned
about the static properties of the felt...
