When I didn't use mine for several months, it had strange symptoms, and I even went so far as to purchase a PRAM battery for it. Before I changed out the battery I discovered that the PRAM is rechargeable and just needed a fresh charge. Now I make sure to use and charge the 190cs every month, and no more problems (except for the flaky charger connector...)
