A little precision about the 520/540 Ethernet capabilities : both have a
built-in 10BT Ethernet card (and sometimes even a built-in modem) but they
use an AAUI connector which means that you have to use a transceiver to plug
a standard RJ-45 cable on those machines. That transceiver is cheap (around
$5-$10) and usually easy to find.
