This is going to sound weird. I have lost the desktop folder on my PB
1400cs in the root direcory! It used to be there. I could see it from
a different computer when networked (I even had an alias of it on the
networked computers so I could slid files right to the desktop.) I
could see it with RedEdit and Drop*Blindfold. I could see it when I
single clicked and held on the hard drive icon while using FinderPop.
But I did something, I don't know what, and it is gone. Utilities
that can see invisible files no longer can see it. What gives?
Suggestions? It was handy to be able to copy stuff over the network
right to the desktop, and even into folders on the desktop!
