Yes, excellent point; however, I do not know many other Mac folks in my
town or nearby (even though this used to be an "all-Mac" town/campus). I
will ask my dad which OS he runs (same age machine as mine but desktop),
and after that have one other resource on campus for possible borrow.
Borrowing is a good idea; I will definitely look into that first, since
I've for sure got the time before purchase is even possible. Thanks!
