Hello all,

I recently came into possession of a pb180, and then ran away with the circus (long story). Now that I've returned, I'd like to get it working, and see what it's capable of. I've tried powering it up, and I'm getting what I can only assume are the chimes of death, after which it promptly powers down.

Try removing the battery and see what happens. It could also (iirc) be a dead PRAM battery.
